obsessed with this vinyl coated cotton fabric I bought the other day. Going to make a tote bag with it. I also want to make a skirt out of it!
This is the other pair I just finished, this is a brand new fabric, not vintage. The print/fabric was made in Japan! It has a surf-like feeling. I’m also making a gathered pouffy skirt with this fabric. I only bought 2 yards of this. I think this fabric would look really cool with a shiny sheen, is it possible to DIY a shiny sheen on fabric? like a patent sheen? anyone know?
I cut up about 20 pairs of shorts last summer, to finish/make last summer, but I never did finish one pair! I finally got back to working on them this past week and finished three. They are lightweight cotton shorts, high waisted. Good for hot days, summer weather. They look better on a person versus a wall, of course! The floral and tie dye are the left over from my bag fabrics. And I just threw in one of the totes I made for a fun photo, i’m just gonna pin everything to my walls!
Finishing up this color block clutch…I love the combo of colors: blue, magenta, and bright green zipper with gold teeth.
